Steven and Graeme had their first Father's Day celebration on June 21. I gave them matching shirts since Steven always wanting a little matching outfit. Steven's shirt said "Papasaurus" on it, while Graeme's said "Graeme-asuarus", which is a nickname we gave him after he wore a cute little dinosaur onesie when he was a couple months old.
Steven also found some matching shorts that they already had, so they were dressed in completely matching outfits. Such cute boys in my life! And Graeme absolutely adores his papa. When Steven is in the room, Graeme watches him and his eyes follow wherever Steven goes. He just lights up when Steven comes in the room and grins when Steven talks to him. Such a daddy's boy.
I was really nervous about Graeme's first Independence Day. We weren't planning on going to any celebrations, but I had no idea how he was going to react to the sound of fireworks at night. Amazingly, he slept through it all! Although I did not haha. The baby monitor in his room is set to a certain level of sound sensitivity (we have it at the least sensitive level, so the monitor in our room only goes off if he makes a loud sound). Unfortunately, the fireworks kept setting it off, so I was always listening to see if he was actually waking up or if it was just the noise from outside. Regardless, I was still just glad that he wasn't frightened or woken up from everything!
